Parking in Downtown Bridgeport

There are plenty of places to park in downtown Bridgeport! For your convenience, we've created a downloadable map of parking locations that you can print out and bring with you. Download Parking Map here.

On Street Parking - Metered street parking spaces are available on most downtown streets. The fee is $2.00 per hour, with a two hour limit. Most meters now accept the convenient Bridgeport Card, as well as cards from any other municipality that participates in the Parcxmart program.

Garages and Parking Lots - Several lots and garages throughout the downtown district provide off street parking spaces to the public for a fee. Public parking garages are located on Middle Street behind the Holiday Inn, at 10 Middle Street, on Fairfield Avenue at Harrison Street, and the Arena at Harbor Yard garage.

Special Events Parking - Patrons at the Arena and Ballpark may park in nearby lots for a modest fee. In addition, some of the larger private lots in the downtown area are opened to the public for selected events. Parking fees may vary. Click here for more information.

Traveling by rail? Parking spaces at the commuter lot at the Bridgeport Train station are plentiful, convenient and affordable.

Ferry Parking - Patrons of the Bridgeport/Port Jefferson ferry may park opposite the ferry terminal or in the lot on the corner of Ferry Access Road. A shuttle bus will take you to and from the dock.
