Most of the city's meters now accept the Bridgeport Card!

No more fumbling for quarters! With the handy, easy-to-use Bridgeport Card in your wallet, you can park with confidence, and never over-pay! Here's how it works:

1. Insert your Bridgeport Card into the meter as shown. The meter will flash the card balance three times and then start to add time in increments of 15 minutes. meter and card
2. Remove your card when the meter displays the amount of time you wish to park or when the maximum time has been reached.

Unlike coins, the Bridgeport Card does not allow you to buy more than the maximum time allowed at the metered space, so you never "overspend" on a meter. The maximum time limit is printed just below the display on every meter. Instructions are printed on the front of every meter, along with meter number and details on parking rates and times.

Using your Bridgeport Card elsewhere.

It's called the Bridgeport Card but you can use it immediately here and in New Haven. When other cities sign up for the Parcxmart program, you will be able to use your card there as well. Visit www.parcxmart.com to learn which other cities are using Parcxmart, and where you can purchase your Parcmart card.
