An undiscovered art treasure awaits you in the heart of downtown Bridgeport! Visit the Housatonic Museum of Art to see works by many of the leading artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, absolutely free.
Thanks to the generosity of artists and collectors, the museum has amassed a prestigious collection that includes masterworks by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Auguste Rodin, Mary Cassatt, Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, Isamu Noguchi, Christo, Gustav Klimt, Ansel Adams, Claes Oldenburg, Alberto Giacometti, Pierre Renoir and many others. The collection is on display throughout the campus and is open to the public with no admission charge.
In addition, the Bert Chernow Gallery features changing exhibitions, lectures and educational programs throughout the year,

The Museum is open only when the Community College is in session. Please
call (203) 332-5000 before visiting to ensure that the Gallery will be
open.
Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Thursday evening until 7pm
Saturday, 9am until 3pm (call for summer and holiday hours)
Sunday, noon until 4 pm (call for summer and holiday hours)
